Knossos Palace & Museum

Knossos Palace, located on the island of Crete, is one of Greece’s most significant archaeological sites and the largest Bronze Age site on the island. It was the ceremonial and political center of the Minoan civilization and is associated with myths such as the Labyrinth and the Minotaur. Excavated by Sir Arthur Evans in the early 20th century, the palace is renowned for its complex layout, advanced architecture, and elaborate frescoes, though some of Evans’ restoration work has been controversial.

Prices for the tickets to the Knossos archaeological site in 2024 is:

Regular Ticket: €15 for each adult.

Reduced Price: Seniors over 65 pay only €8.

Knossos Combined Tickets: You can also buy a ticket that includes the Palace and a museum of Knossos. This costs about €20 online.

Buying Online: It’s better to buy tickets online. This can save you time waiting in lines.

Days with Free Entry: The Palace has free entry on some special days. This includes the first Sunday from November to March, April 18th, May 18th, the last weekend in September, and October 28th.

ANCIENT APTERA TOUR

Archaeological Museum of Chania
